I wanted to install a later model clutch so I got a 1938 bell housing , flywheel and clutch. The problem is that the bell housing mounting holes are located on the side at the back end of the housing, With this configuration the frame cross member is 6 inches to far forward.
There are also a set of holes on the engine side of the housing. These holes do line up with the frame but I don't know if they were used for engine mounting or some other brackets. Could really use some help with this one! | | |
