I don't know what AC originally stands for but it is a division of GM that makes filters & spark plugs, etc. All filter co's make replacements that should fit. Like I say they may have consolidated the AC & FRam into one part. If you can find a parts store that has the AC line they may have the original. I think the AC part number is c-21.
