For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 48 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 48 | Dad and I were all set to order a Superride II from Heidts until they told us that it would be a 2-3" drop bellow factory ride hight.
Dad really wants a nice ride but factory ride hight, ie NOT a low rider. This is going to be a daily driver that looks some what original but rides better than new.
Should we be looking at other Mustang II / 4 Link companies like TCI in order to stay clear of the speedbumps and closer to factory ride hight?
Is it crazy to think about adding 2" or 3"'s of hight back by say 2"x2"x 1/4" square tubing between the bottom of the frame rail where the Superride would go in order to keep it out of the weeds? Has that been done before?
If you need a tool and don't buy it, you will find you have paid for it and don't have it.
