| | | | Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 39 Member | | Member Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 39 | hello all, i just replaced the carb on my 250 (the old one was stripped out at the fuel intake opening). I got the "new" carb from a local yard and it seems to be the same type rochester monojet. I don't know anything about these things and my problem is the engine starts up (have to pour a little fuel down the carb) and runs fine, however when i push the accelerator the carb "gasps" and the engine stalls. What's going on here? thanks for any replies.
