the feature line crease and other shape distinctions like the roof and pillars was used - there were a number of 2 tone patterns used on the 55-57 trucks, but body/fenders was never one of them because the front fenders aren't differentiated from the body - in my opinion it'd look poor, like
this pile of parts, which is more like "modern art" of the style called
neoplasticism but that's just me
