Napa didn't really have anything for me, and if they did Id have to buy them as a kit which I don't need. Now that I think about it he might not have understood me completely or I didn't explain what I was looking for. I brought in one of the head bolt from my truck, I think he thought I was looking for a regualar head bolt and not a stud.
Anyways I ended up finding what I needed after all and I already had it. A few days ago I stopped at the local auto yard to see if any GM 250 inlines had the studs, but didn't find any. I decided to check out the Jeep inline 6. To my surprise all it had was studs and even better they were the same diameter as the original (1/2"). When I brought them home and compared them, the Jeep bolt was about a inch longer, but the length from the hex head to the start of the threads was the same as the one from mine. Cut the extra inch off from the Jeep bolt and I had what I was after. I had compared the bolts a few days ago and for some reason thought it was different and couldn't be used. The stud on top is smaller as it is a 7/16".
