Well, about three years of frustration and waiting has finally ended. This engineer FINALLY actually has a truck that RUNS!!!!
Started Rosie's engine up today after much tweaking. Had a whole incident with the distributor that I will detail in another forum, but suffice to say, we all learned something!
Rosie starts easy (with choke), and runs fairly smoothly. We should have checked, but only 3 or so of the valves were adjusted to spec, so that will be the next project, and will hopefully smooth it out even more. AND, need to figure out why the ammeter reads discharge the whole time.
But it RUNS!!!
