For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 888 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 888 | I am to the point of purchasing new rims for my 4t6. I've been leaning heavily towards 8 lug trailer rims. Well I made the call to Redneck Trailer to check availability and they had what I wanted but I wanted the lady to verify the backset and she said she would call me back. She called a little later and said the old timer who worked there forever did not reccommend trailer rims for a vehicle. She couldn't/wouldn't give me any reasons why other than they were made for a trailer and not everyday use. I said I use my landscape trailer daily. What's the difference? I'm guessing liability? I still leaning towards using them. Comments? Opinions? Thanks prior Dan | | |
