I beleive the bell crank is in the same location, but the original 235 disappered years ago. I got home one day and someone decided they wanted it for the scrap price it was bringing. It was long gone when I came across this 261 to place in my truck.
I have the bell-crank and the linkage from it to the carb, but I had to fabricate a rod from the crank to the accelerator. (And it don't work real well).
I have looked locally for another, but not found any 235's in a long time around here. May be time to make a road trip to some other wrecking yards.
