I just bought a 1952 Styleline Deluxe in excellent original condition smile with the exception of the original 216 that just chewed up its cam gear. :mad: I would like to replace the 216 with a 235. I know that 52 through 54 235's will bolt right in with no modification to the side engine mounts.

I don't know what post '54 235's will bolt in with no modification. Right now it sort of sounds like none of them will fit. I can work around the long water pump shaft problem with a short shaft concersion kit. I am not sure how to deal with the side engine mounts.

Anybody got any ideas or advice. In the meantime I am once again preparing for a pain in the A%$ in vehicle cam gear removal and reinstallation. :mad:
