Take a look at this link http://good-times.webshots.com/album/569610193atWFaJ?vhost=good-timesMy truck had a 1950 235 engine and matching intake manifold. Look through the pictures I think it show the cable running down the front of the firewall and in along the drivers side of the valve cover, then kind of snakes over the intake and around behind to connect to the carburator.
