Jeff, thanks for the responce and the pics. Your set up is slightly different than mine but close enough for me to see I may have my choke cable attached in the wrong place. Mine is clamped to the spring/bracket assembly on the firewall. It attaches correctly to the carb (the choke cable works properly)but I may be missing a cable clamp on the carb. If this is the case I can use the that clamp for the throttle cable however I don't see any place for cable wire to attach. All I would need is a small hole in the bracket and that should do it. I will look at it some more tomorrow when I get home from work. I tried to take a picture of my set up but with the radiator so close you really can't see much.
