Alot of the installation problem stems from the roof settling during the rebuild.
I know this sounds crazy but if you jack the roof up a bit in the center it goes much easier. i'm only talking about 1/8th inch or so.
If i'm changing existing glass then I do one side at a time to help keep the roof up.
The gasket corner issue may actually be more of a glass not being cut right, the lower corner always seems to be shorter than actual corner. Thats the way they were from the factory. I have used both original glass and factory patterns when cutting new ones and add abit to the corners to make the fit better.
