Thanks Denny I replaced the buffer already. It was .006 @ 1600. What I was looking at was under electrolytic in the parts list.
http://www.nostalgiaair.org/PagesByModel/495/M0022495.pdf page 21-53. It however list the buffer under the electrolytic also. I ordered the necessary parts last night. The tuner sure works better after cleaning. What are you using to lubricate the moving parts with? Is there anyway that I could get a jpg of the finished tuner that you have posted on webshots? If I had a good photo that I could scale to actual size I could measure the dial pointer and finish that up. Thanks for the help.
