It is in the mock up stage and I need everyones help. It is currently sitting on a short bed S-10 frame that measures 108". The bed that is on it looks to be too long at 80" from end to end on the top rail. The 350 chevy engine and 700r4 trans is just sitting on the regular motor mounts without the use of the S-10 conversion brackets that I have. It looks like the engine should go back about 4" to 6" more towards the cab for the front end to be centered on the front wheels. The cab is also just sitting in place. My questions would be #1 will 108" wheel base work for the truck? #2 What is the correct length of the short bed on a 1/2 ton truck? Will what I currently have work? | | |
