| | | | Joined: Apr 2003 Posts: 942 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2003 Posts: 942 | The rating of 19,500 is pretty much typical for a C-60. If the truck does weigh 9,800 as you mentioned earlier, you can legally carry 9,700, which is almost 5 Ton. ...not bad.
If you are able to, try to take some more weight off the truck. I took a bunch of unnecessary stuff off my '68 C-30 that was on there when I first got it. It weighed about 6700 back then. I hope to get it down to somewhere around 6000.
