FWIW:
I removed (5) leaves from the rear of my 56 1/2 ton, this left (3) leaves in place, and dropped the rear bumper 5 inches. Which was more than I was looking for as the front axle is the original and I know I can't get enough drop up front to match the 5 inches at the rear. So, I put (2) leaves back into each side at the rear, this makes for (5) leaves per side at the rear. This yielded a (2) inch drop from original, which was what I wanted in the first place. I well be messing with the front leaves this weekend and will post results as I get them.
