You are right, it is a four piece deal, the three intake runners connect to the main intake body where the carbs mount. I was going to run this setup on my 56 3100. Its probably a little overkill for the motor, but I wanted it for the 'cool' factor. I love vintage speed equipment, be it old Chevy's or VW's. I guess I just long to live in those days!
