After doing a lot of research and having discussions on the GMC forums site: oldgmctrucks.com , we came up with what we believe to be the closest color to the original. I used it on my '51 and '53 as a single stage. You can put a clear coat if you like, but i used as a base with no top coat and it worked fine. The PPG color is: DBU 3898, DK Beige Poly. I think its a 68 Corvette color. Its also the opinion of the GMC site that gmc interior was different then chevys. There are several companys that will take that code and put it in a can for you.
