I agree with everyone's suggestions on the steering column removal on the AD Chevy truck. I have one more addition to the "how to" list: If the engine is still in the truck, you will need to remove the driver front wheel and also remove the inner fender panel to get the column out. That's what I had to do on my '48 1 ton pickup.
