Hy fire12, please remember to tell us what year/size of truck you are asking questions about in your posts. If this question is about the 49 panel in your profile, then you must remove the steering wheel, upper columb support, the horn wire, the floor trim piece, and then you can either remove the pitman arm from the steering box, or the drag link from the pitman arm. then remove the bolts which hold the steering box to the frame, and remove the steering box out from under the truck. You will have to jack the truck up quite a bit to get it out, hope that helps, and Happy New Year
