It done. Overall the "MP Brakes" kit went on ok so long as you don't follow the directions too closely. Given what we pay for these kits the directions should be better. I taked with the company and they will be making changes. The followning was different"

Direction item 3. You can not use the original bolt & spacer to attach the steering arm to the bottom forward spindle ear. If you do the rotor will scrape. Go out and buy new shorter grade 8 bolts, castelated nut and lock washer. Drill the holes last to put the cotter key. Most importantly and my biggest time waster was trying to fit up the caliper mounting bracket on the back of the spindle as the directions said. Forget that the bracket can only goes on from the front of the spindle with the spacers on the three bolts. I put the bolt heads on the inside with locknuts facing out. So the stack up is like this: on the inside will be steering arm, then spindel ears, spacer, caliper bracket.

Direction item 8. Directions say outer bearing A-12 in the kit is actually outer bearing PTA-2. It is not necessary to exchange the outer bearing races as the rotor will come with the outer race already installed. Just use that one and put in the PTA-2 roller bearing followed by the 3/4 inch by 1/4" brass spacer. Finally install the original keyed washer and retaining nut and new cotterkey not supplied.

Important: You do have to knock out the inside caliper rear bearing races and put in the ones installed with the kit to match the new inside bearings. The only advice I can give here is make sure that the races are completely seated. If not the calipers will not go on smoothly. Guess how I discovered that?

Make sure you install a new disk/drum master cyl with 2 lb residual valve on the front and 10 lb on the rear drum brakes with a porportion valve.
