I did weld it today...but for what??? cosmetics..?? and for the spacer to make the duals go back on the lugs right.. I did'nt "DIDNT" put the shoes on and plugged the line,,, it seemed to weld ok...but i know it would be warped and whatnot... I am still tryin to find one...ill email that guy...and gotta find time durin the day to check out that bowtie... got the front brakes rebuilt this mornin before work.. and the back ones will i guess hafta wait till i hopefully find a drum.... uhhhhhhhh the local salvage here has tons of old stovebolts and bigbolts..but didnt have a one ton... anyway thanks for the info...i did wonder about the legality also... but i didnt really plan on figurin it would hold or run brakes... was just curious..??? I just aquired the truck a couple of weeks ago and still workin on it...itsa purty cool old truck specially since i traded some work on a grain truck for it....*S*..gotta few pics at http://community.webshots.com/album/105389935DwOlOq
