As I recall, he stated that you could retain the 6-lug rear wheels by obtaining 6-lug axles from a late-40s/early-50s Chevy Passenger car's torque-tube rearend. Those 6-lug (automobile) axles supposedly fit the Powerglide torquetube. | | |
