With the front clip temporarily bolted on to do some body work it looks like the front of my 49 Sub is going to end up too high. Hood, grille headlights not installed. I have used the Andereggen/Joyce IFS swap out of an 84 GMC half ton. It is narrowed so the tires do not stick outside of the fenders. I already have 2" dropped spindles on it and it still looks too high. Using the stock springs and P235/75R15 wheels and tires. These are temporary wheels just to move the truck around. I know I could use smaller tires and wheels in the front but wanted to avoid 2 different sizes front to back. I have driven it around at our local airport and it seems to drive and steer well. I don't want a slammed look, I just want a stock appearing stance. And I don't want to cut coils. If I bought shorter springs would this affect the steering and ride? As usual need advice. I want this truck to be a safe and comfy daily driver so I don't want to do anything too radical. I know you guys have the answer and thanks ahead of time.
