I'm looking at a 1966 Chevrolet 4x4 and am wondering what engine would be in it? It has an updated ignition under the hood, does that mean anything? could the original engine have that?

The truck also has locking hubs, is that standard on a '66 4x4?

Something else i remember, when the truck was running and i revved the engine a light came on on the dash that i believe said GEN? Is that generator and if so does that mean anything about the battery not charging?
