| | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 2,393 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 2,393 | Looking at your engine pic, I would not worry that the insulator is overextending the carb as long as you know it is centered correctly. I have never seen them melt,but break up a little from age as they harden. Yours looks new. As to the correct intake manifold: Post the cast number on it and it can be looked up for what engine/years it fits.
