I am new to this forum and knee deep in a gasser project. I am looking into converting the steering into cross steering and using more modern tie rod ends.
Does anybody know it there are any steering arms similar to this: http://www.speedwaymotors.com/1937-48-FORD-STEERING-ARMS,1137.html that fit 39 chevy spindles?
That seems like the easiest way forward, otherwise I might have to convert the existing steering arms to use tie rod ends and add a second one on the right hand side for cross steering. Have someone done this?
