I've got a '57 roling frame (3200 I believe)that I'm using for a rod project, & have a question about the front drums.

Why are they riveted to the hubs?
I've heard not all are, & I'd rather remove the rivets for drum access without bearing removal. I can't see a problem with it.

Also, Are there any off the shelf tie rod sleeves that would let me convert the stock tie rod ends to heim joints, while still retaining the adjustment on the stock drag link.
