From what I've seen, the cab, the bed and rear fenders are the same. The front fenders and grille are different. GM didn't change much on the cars and trucks those years. In 1947, GM used all the remaining parts that they had in inventory from 39 through 46. In March, 1947, GM introduced the " Advanced Design" pickup. An all new body, but still used the same bed as the 40s models.
