The 1940's model has the same cab as a 1941-1946 Chevy/GMC truck. The only difference it the front clip. Here is a company that makes a conversion kit for the 1941-1946 model trucks
www.e-zchassisswaps.com the kit works on any s-10 frame but as long as it is 118 inch wheel base. But if you have a longbox truck like a 3/4 ton you can use a 122 inch s-10 frame and use the same kit.
