Well,,, heres my take on the subject. Its probably not right but it kinda makes sense to me.
A panel is just that. A panel truck! Good for delivery,freight purposes.
A suburban, to me is the suburban with the seats in it,to where it can be used as a "passenger vehicle",,,Station Wagon.
A suburban with the seats removed would be a "carryall". Obviously for "carrying" cargo,freight,parcels,lumber,etc.....
