| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 238 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 238 | Just wanted to say that while it would be a gas to assist the local fire dept. I would never show up without a request. It's a small town but there are still regulations the FD has to follow and not being a trained firefighter I could never be aloud to do anything more than let them use my equipment while I watched ( that would free me up to get photos of the truck in action anyways). Same with helping the RFD's controling range fires that have gotten out of hand . Helping my rancher freinds control their spring range burns is one thing but Having spent 2 months in a burn ward many years ago I have the upmost respect for fire and would never get in the way of the professionals trying to control one . But it still would be a interesting experiance . ED H | | |
