| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 32 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 32 | Today I fired up the old 235 after rebuilding it and it runs like a new one. The clutch works and the transmission shifts fine. I put a 1 ton Ford rear-end in it last week and it fit almost perfectly only difference is its 3/4 of an inch wider in the back now. Tomorrow I will mount the 350 Chevy with the 700r4 midway right behind the cab. and put the 235 up for sale. I think I will use the old engine compartment for either all aluminum gas tank or maybe an over-sized beer cooler. I am in the process of completely manufacturing an IFS for the front along with power rack. I took the power rack and pointed it straight up for the steering shaft. Looks real good so far. I will put more pictures of it on the Web tomorrow afternoon after I finish installing the mid-engine and trans. | | |
