I had a feeling that the column would have to come out of the bottom of the cab. does anyone make a new power steering column that mounts thru the oem frame holes and uses the stock pitman arm?? I was thinking of using the column out of my 1982 c-10 but i have never done a transplant like that before also the steering box mounts the pitman arm down and not thru the frame like the stock 59 does. my replacement motor has a good ps pump and hoses i just need a box to fit them to.
