#47681 07/14/2005 5:37 AM | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | the 55-57 car and truck brakes were the same except fot 5 stud on car, 6 on truck - the axle is prolly from about 50 something to 59 truck, which will all have the same spindles as the 55 car, no car that year range had a solid axle - I think the hold-down spring kits are avail from suppliers specific for that year range, I always just go to NAPA and get generic kits off the rack that are the same
