I really appreciate all the responses to my question! I ended up having my radiator serviced-had a few leaks - and installed a larger four bladed Chevy fan-one that was about an inch longer. I will test the new fan. If that doesn't work then my next step will be installing a flex fan or try to find a six blade Chevy fan. I am trying to stay as close to original equipment as possible and the flex fans are just too pretty and shiny!! Thanks again guys!
