I believe the 348/409's use the same bell housing bolt to the flange mount as 235/261's. These starters interchange. On the 'bay, they only come up when I search for 409 starters.
I work on Harleys, so I mess with nippondenso starters all the time, and I really like them. We have little pushrod like solenoid actuators so you can bump them around by pushing on the end of the solnoid housing. Might be handy when adjusting valves or other work under the hood.
