That could be, but I know in my '62, if you got a v8, it mounted the same as the six (2 bellhousing mounts, one front mount.)
the bellhousing for the eight takes has the starter mount.
Anywat, check it out on e-bay. Search for 348 or 409 starter. The seller is qtip43, he has a starting bid of 149.00. Last time I went to the pomona swap meet, I asked all the start people, and they said they could get 'em in hitachi or nippondenso style.
