Due to the VOC limit requirements if you spray much, you will need a HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) to control air-borne VOC's and not get a fine (your paint shop needs to report all paint sales)

Beyond that, generally pressure guns are for hosing on a lot of paint in a short period of time.

I myself have a variety of siphon guns and will be changing to HVLP's as I replace them.
