There's nothing wrong with them, other than they're 45 years old. I''m sure the shackles and bushings are worn, and the ride height has probably dropped due to spring sag.
I've seen comments on this site about re-arcing springs, but I'm wondering, would it be simplier to just replace them? Are reproduction springs any good? I've noticed there are 2 price brackets for reproduction springs (about $266/pair or $370/pair), depending on where you buy them. Any comments would be appreciated.
