also check vintagespeed.com. they have a ton of parts and info on multi carb setups and linkages. they also sell complete units with linkage etc, setup ready to bolt on and run. the folks i talked to say really good service.
the HEI is a good addition too. i put one on a jeep and it did wonders for power AND reliability. the idle went from none to perfect in the 2 hours it took to put it on!
