I'm wanting to go with an overdrive in my 66 C30. It currently has the original 327,sm420, and 456 HO72 rear. Its a work truck not a toy so automatics and high geared rears are not an option.I want to get a few more mpg if I can wihout losing pulling power,The ranger overdrive unit from advance adapters is my first choice but the shifter wont clear the bench seat and I hate bucket seats. 2nd choice is an NV 4500 but I have a couple questions: Was the NV4500 avail, with the trns, mounted parking brake? Also will it bolt up to my orig. bellhousing? I'm sure there will be other issues also, any advice will be appreciated. Thanks, Mike
