Thats pretty common with older rigs. The wiring in mine had been monkeyed up pretty bad. Not a single fuse to be found, just one big wire from the battery, a couple wire nust, and a LOT of tape. It was so messed up I tore it all out and rewired the entire truck. HOPEFULLY you wont need t go that far. smile
