Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 12 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 12 | I have a 66 c10 with a 283 I just acquired the truck. the truck ran in the driveway after unloading off the transport. pulled it into the garage and now wont start. It will run as long as I keep pouring gas into the carb. I unscrewed the line at the carb from the fuel pump and turned the engine over nice big blast of gas. I guess I have narrowed it to the carb but this is where i need help. I know nothing about carbs. Why is the carb fuel starved? Does it need totally rebuilt? thank you so much for the advice.
