| | | | Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 5,708 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 5,708 | That spring is actually a Bourdon tube which is part of a sealed system that makes the needle move. If it has sprung a leak it's not going to work until it's professionally rebuilt or replaced with a new gauge and tube (one piece). That's how I see the situation.
