I tried the trigger on three different distributers with the same fit on all of them so I think I may have a faulty part. Measuring the cam and the trigger with a dial caliper there is about a .005 difference so I may try shimming it with some brass shim stock. The distributer is from a 62 model 235. The kit says Delco 6 cyl part no. 1168
