I am rebuiding my Rochester BC 1 barrel on my 235, the bottom flange of the carb that sits on the intake manifold has a small hole that is open to the interior of the carb, hoever, when the carb is bolted down on the manifold this small hole is covered and closed by the manifold gasket .. I seem to recall a post that said this hole was supposed to be open to the manifold ... anyone know anything about this? Thanks
