I am restoring a 1946 chev fire truck pumper. I bought it with the thought that it was a 216, however it may be a 235. That being said the water pump began leaking a yr. ago. I went to my Car Quest parts store and they were able to replace it with a rebuild. They told me it came out of chicago. I think it cost me fifty dollars exchange.
