If you remember, my steering was tought because my thrust washer was balled up between the axle end and the top of the steering knuckle. We got it out and the steering seems fine. I don't think it is too loose. Do I need that thrust washer back in there enough to go thru the whole king pin replacement saga or will I be ok. Is bad tire wear the only penalty for not replacing the thrust washer or can I expect wear on the axle or some other part that will stop me?
